Etosha Safari

Windhoek  -  Etosha National Park  -  Windhoek

Day 1:

Windhoek. Depart at around 08h00 from Windhoek towards Okahandja, where further guests may join the tour. Continue via Outjo into the famous Etosha National Park, where we’ll undertake the first game drive. The Park is well known for its huge herds of antelope and zebra. Just before sunset we will leave the Etosha National Park again and drive to our lodge/safari camp just outside the Park. Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis (e.g. Etosha Safari Camp).

Day 2:

Etosha. A full day in the Park lies ahead of us. Except for the rainy season, Etosha’s animals are dependant on artificial waterholes and natural springs. Explore the various waterholes along this enormous saltpan, which is called the “great white place of dry water” in a local language. Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch excluded - for your own account). Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis (e.g. Etosha Safari Camp).

Day 3:

Etosha. Encounter the big variety of wildlife in the Park one more day. More than 114 mammals species are found in the Park, several of them are rare and endangered like the black rhino of the black faced impala. You have a great chance of seeing some of the bigger mammals, like elephant and rhino and of course a highlight in any safari, the predators. Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch excluded - for your own account). Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis either inside the Etosha National Park, or one of the privately owned lodges outside the Park.

Day 4:

Etosha. Depart during the morning and travel southwards to Otjiwarongo and via Okahandja, where we will visit a local craft market, to Windhoek for arrival during the late afternoon.
